A tribute to birch plywood, the single material used for this whole house project. Birch plywood is incredibly durable and manages to look both utilitarian and serene at the same time. It is also versatile and can be used for a wide variety of projects, here, the beds, wardrobes, kitchen and other general cabinetry are all made from it; mostly the finish is clear oil, apart from the kitchen which uses a green black stain. Using one material and having most of the furniture built in both creates a sense of harmony and also maximises the use of space.
