Alkham Road

Modern eat-in kitchen with oak and green washed oak cabinets and a metal worktop
Description

We built this family kitchen for two Italian photographers, who engaged architects for the design.

Our main challenge was to mirror the new oak parquet floor. We did this by making the lower cabinet doors as parquet panels and then staining the timber a blue-green colour, which stands out against the floor.

Stainless steel worktops throughout were designed around a Belfast main sink and an integrated prep sink on the island. These finishes, along with the stained blue doors, bring the early Victorian terrace into the 21st century.
